CONCEITED adjective

1. Excessively proud of oneself
2. Having an exaggerated sense of self-importance

Examples:
  • Why are you so conceited that you think your life is worth anything at all to an infinite god?

  • In matters of education you may be somewhat conceited.

  • I'm not conceited enough to believe I’m the best person for someone else to have in their lives.

  • An attitude of self-conceited arrogance 
Synonyms:
Vain, proud, egotistical, self-important

* A word of the day will be introduced during the educational meeting and everyone is encouraged to use the word in speeches. The grammarian will take note who and how many times he/she has used the word throughout the meeting.
